Luísa Soares de Oliveira
Graduate from the Université de Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne (1983) and PhD from Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (2012), is Professor at the Escola School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha since 2001, where she has been teaching several subjects related to the history of art and artistic theory. Coordinates the Master in Fine Arts at this institution, where she is also a member of the Council of Representatives. She is also an art critic and exhibition curator since 1990. Has written dozens of texts for catalogs and organized exhibitions of painting, sculpture, installation and ceramics exhibitions. Among these, the Landart and Artemar in collaboration with the D. Luís I Foundation, and Entre as Palavras e os Silêncios - Works from the Norlinda and José Lima Collection (D. Luís I Foundation and Oliva Art Center, 2021 - 2022). since 1990. Shshe has written dozens of texts for catalogs and organized exhibitions of painting, sculpture, installation and ceramics exhibitions. Among these, the Landart and Artemar cycles in collaboration with the D. Luís I Foundation, and Entre as Palavras e os Silêncios - Works from the Norlinda and José Lima Collection (D. Luís I Foundation and Oliva Art Center, 2021 - 2022). She has lectured several conferences on criticism and contemporary art, among which stand out, those given within the Seminario de Critica de Arte at FIL Guadalajara in 2019, and has published a monograph on Jorge Vieira (editorial Caminho, 2008) and, with Ruth Rosengarten, another on Ana Vidigal (Assírio & Alvim, 2003).
