Luís Silveirinha
Campo Maior, 1968.
Painting Course at Ar.Co - Centro de Arte e Comunicação, Lisbon (2003/2007). He has developed his artistic activity in the field of drawing and artist books.
In 2020 Projet Room "De noite vivem estrelas, cintilantes!" at Banco das Artes Galeria in Leiria, curated by Hugo Barata.
In 2019 he realizes the project "Saturno em Plutão" with António Olaio at Galeria Sete in Coimbra, in this same year he participates in the exhibition Studiolo XXI at Fundação Eugénio de Almeida in Évora curated by Maria de Fátima Lambert.
In 2018 he exhibits "Gardens" at Diferença Gallery and "Sing me a Song" at Alecrim 50 gallery (text by Carla Carbone), Lisbon.
In 2017 he exhibits "Arquivo" at Museu do Dinheiro with text by João Silvério and in 2016 the Calouste Gubenkian Foundation exhibits one of his artist books at the exhibition Portugal em Flagrante I-Lisbon, Is selected for the 10th Amadeu de Souza Cardoso Prize, Amarante.
In 2017, curated by João Silvério, at the 10th anniversary of MACE/António Cachola at Fórum Cultural de Almodôvar. Exhibits in Apropriação, Desejo e Memória curated by Jaime Silva at the International Biennial of Vila Nova de Cerveira.
In 2015 Sand at the Electricity Museum, EDP Foundation - Room Ashtray 8 curated by João Pinharanda. Participates in the EDP Foundation Public Art Project and illustrates for the book "Contos de cães e maus lobos" by Valter Hugo Mãe.
In 2013 he exhibits O Jardim do Éden: O inventário (part 1) at Quase Galeria - curated by Maria de Fátima Lambert - Porto. She also exhibits in Chile at the Art Fair - Ch.Aco and exhibits Teatro at Alecrim 50 Gallery (text by Vanessa Rato).
In 2012 he takes part in the exhibition Traços, Pontos e Linhas - Desenhos da colecção António Cachola - Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Elvas/Coleção António Cachola - Elvas.
In 2011 he exhibits Danger, Danger! at Alecrim 50 Gallery in Lisbon curated by Maria de Aires Silveira and "Acidente" - Nogueira da Silva Museum – Braga.
In 2010 he presents Drawings at Reflexus Arte Contemporânea/Nuno Centeno Gallery, Porto. O rasto Invisível da pausa is his first solo show at Alecrim 50 Gallery in 2009, curated by João Pinharanda. He is represented in the collections of Fundação EDP - Lisbon, Museu do Dinheiro/Banco de Portugal, Coleção de Arte Contemporânea António Cachola - Elvas. La Peau d'Ours - Montreal - Canada. Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation - Lisbon, Benetton Collection among others.
